Overview
Puppy Sweeper is made by WONKRZ Inc. ("we"). This policy explains what information the app and its ad provider handle. Puppy Sweeper has no accounts, and we never ask for your name, email address or other personal details in the app.
The app can be played by children. We designed it to follow the children's privacy rules of the App Store and Google Play, including COPPA in the United States.
Information stored on your device
Your settings (colour theme, dark mode, haptics, sound and volume, Easy mode, the last board size and play-time limits), whether you have seen the How to play guide, whether you bought Remove ads, how long you have been playing, and a count of perfect results (used to decide when to ask for a review) are saved only on your device. They are never sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them.
Parental controls keep a little more, also only on your device: how long the app was open and how many boards were won each day, for the last 14 days (shown to parents in Parental controls), the parent's sharing and hint-ad choices, and the parent PIN, which is stored scrambled (hashed), never as typed.
Advertising
Ads are served by Google AdMob. Every ad request is marked as directed to children and to users under the age of consent, which tells Google to show only family-friendly (G-rated) ads and not to use personalised or interest-based advertising.
To show and measure ads, Google may still collect limited information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, device and app information, and ad interactions. Google's policy explains how it uses this information: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
The app never asks for permission to track you on iOS. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
Remove ads purchase
Buying Remove ads stops all ad requests: the app no longer starts the ad SDK. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple or Google. The app never sees your payment details.
Reviews
After a few perfect results the app may ask the App Store or Google Play to show its standard rating prompt. Your rating goes directly to the store; the app never sees it.
Sharing your score
The Share button opens your device's own share sheet with a short text message about your result. You choose where it goes. The app sends nothing itself and never sees where the message was shared or who it was sent to.
